Originally from Calgary, Scott’s family moved to Vancouver Island in 1969. Growing up in Victoria, Scott graduated from Camosun College with a diploma of Technology in Civil Engineering in 1986.
He began surveying for the Ministry of Highways, working on the Coquihalla Highway project as a summer student in 1985 and returned to the MOH after graduation. Scott joined Duncan and Associates Engineering in 1990 where he worked with Newcastle’s founding partners and subsequently joined Newcastle Engineering in 2002.
When not working, Scott enjoys spending time with his family and an occasional round of golf.
