Newcastle Engineering was engaged to provide civil engineering services for the Malone Road Subdivision Phases 1 & 2 in Ladysmith, BC. The rural 13-lot Phase 1 subdivision required transportation, stormwater, sanitary, and water servicing, with infrastructure sized to support a future 8-lot Phase 2.

The site included sensitive riparian areas, creek crossings, an existing park, and steep, rocky terrain. Newcastle Engineering coordinated with environmental and municipal stakeholders to support provincial approvals, stormwater management, culvert design, and utility routing.

Through careful pipe material selection and servicing design, Newcastle helped reduce park disturbance, preserve mature trees, and support future development.
