- Bachelor’s degree in applied science, engineering, or a relevant field.
- Registered or eligibility for immediate registration as a registered professional engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
- Experience with land development and/or municipal engineering projects.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft 365.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate a design team.
- 4+ years experience in the civil engineering industry or related industry.

- All responsibilities and performance standards associated with the E2 role.
- 8+ years experience in the civil engineering industry or related industry, including 4+ years experience as a P.Eng.
E2
- Performs engineering design work.
- Supervises the design process of direct reports and reviews all design calculations to ensure design work is accurate, complete, and conducted in accordance with current standards.
- Serves as Engineer of Record and within their area of expertise, sign and seal Engineering Design Drawings and any reports completed under their direct supervision.
- Maintains project design files with all necessary calculations and supporting documentation.
- Ensures that the quality of work produced meets or exceeds the company’s standards for excellence.
- Develops and maintains a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of legislation, codes, and procedures relating to engineering design.
E3
- Perform all tasks and responsibilities outlined for the E2 level, in addition to the following E3-specific duties.
- Provides concept and peer reviews of Engineering Design performed under the supervision of another Engineer.
- Guides, directs, and assists with training project team members and sub-consultants.
- E2 – $85K to $100K
- E3 – $105K to $120K
