- Bachelor’s degree in applied science, engineering, or a relevant field.
- Registered or eligibility for immediate registration as a registered professional engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
- Formal project management training or certification is considered an asset (PMP).
- Experience with land development and/or municipal engineering projects.
- Demonstrated ability for efficient project delivery.
- 4+ years experience in the civil engineering industry or related industry.
E3
- All responsibilities and performance standards associated with the E2 role.
- 8+ years experience in the civil engineering industry or related industry, including 4+ years experience as a P.Eng./Project Manager.
E2
- Leads and organizes projects from start to finish with a focus on achieving company targets on each one (e.g., profitability, scheduling, and quality).
- Tracks financial aspects of project design and provides project management oversight for multiple projects.
- Monitors and reports on project schedules and works with the Project Engineer to schedule all design staff.
- Monitors and controls costs within the project team ensuring the effective and efficient expenditure of allocated funds.
- Ensures quality standards are upheld and establishes project plans based on the priorities of the team.
- Monitors execution of projects and addresses issues and/or problems.
E3
- Perform all tasks and responsibilities outlined for the E2 level, in addition to the following E3-specific duties.
- Resolves overdue accounts and/or client satisfaction issues.
- E2 – $85K to $100K
- E3 – $105K to $120K
