- 2-6+ years of experience preparing proposals, grant applications, or similar business communications.
- Diploma or degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, business administration, or a related writing-focused field.
- Strong business or technical writing skills.
- Clear and professional communication in both short-form and long-form written communication, including emails, memos, and executive summaries.
- Comfortable proofreading and editing content written by others.
- Familiar with proposal formatting, document layout, and version control. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); basic knowledge of Microsoft Project is helpful.
- Experience in a consulting or engineering environment is an asset, but not required.

- Coordinate proposals from beginning to end, including organizing kickoff meetings, assigning roles, and setting internal deadlines.
- Write and edit proposal content, from cover letters and resumes to executive summaries and project sheets.
- Review RFP requirements and ensure that all final documents are fully compliant.
- Work with project teams to gather and customize content, identifying opportunities to improve clarity and persuasiveness.
- Maintain proposal materials and templates to help us continuously improve our submissions.
- Support the team with other writing, editing, or coordination tasks as needed.
