Dustin Haracka joined Newcastle after having spent a decade in the forest industry, loving the outdoors and gaining valuable work experience. Tired of looking at logs, he decided to revive his dreams of working in the engineering field.
While completing the Integrated Engineering Technologist diploma at Vancouver Island University, Dustin was introduced to the Newcastle team in a summer semester co-op term. With an interest in development and a love of problem solving, Dustin found Newcastle Engineering to be the right fit for his new direction and returned to the company after completing his program.
In his spare time, Dustin enjoys skiing, biking, golfing, renovations, and spending time in the garden with his family.
